Dear Brethren,
As we come into the month of June, I am amazed at how fast this year is rolling by. The end of this month marks the half-way point in the year. The officers will begin qualifying for their positions in next year’s line. We continue to welcome our new brethren and mourn the loss of those brothers who have left us to sit in the Supreme lodge where our Great Creator presides.
At this time, I reflect back to my installation and remember my asking the Brethren to come home and start participation once again in Lodge Activities specifically because as a lodge we need to wake up and come together. The Lodge is just too big with too many fun things to do for just a few people to enjoy them, (yes I am including our ladies in this message as well). Together with our size membership these can be fun and exciting events to build upon. I ask you Brother Masons, why did you become a Mason? What has changed? What can be done to get you to feel that way again? Hollywood Lodge and the Lodges that have become a part of us have a rich and powerful history. It is time however, that we get up, put down the TV remote, shake off the cobwebs and come back to visit your other family. We miss you. It is time for Hollywood Lodge #355 to once again begin to make the history that our future brothers will reflect upon and they themselves become inspired by.
